Testimonies

From December 2008 to March 2009, the Lord has worked uncountable wonders in the lives of so many of his people across Freetown and its surroundings through Cornerstone Ministries. However, as has been from the days of the Lord when not everyone would return to give thanks and testify of what the Lord has done in their lives so it is today (Lk. 17: 12-19). Here are some of the heart moving testimonies we have recorded of those who came forward and gave God glory for their breakthrough. Some of these testimonies are recorded on DVD that could be acquired from the church.

1. A sister known as Salamatu testified of how as a little girl she dreamt snake. And when she got married, anytime she became pregnant and brought forth a female child, she would die. She had had four female babies since but has been blessed with two that are alive yet. Knowing her ordeal, when the man of God said that he saw snake coming out of someone, she professed to be that person being that she fell under the anointing and felt something coming out of her. And she believes that’s was her deliverance.

2. A sister known as Kadiatu Kargbo testified of how she has suffered from epilepsy from the age of twelve (12). It was so severe that she would fall more than six (6) times a day. She has wounded many parts of her body as she would fall randomly without notice. This illness has embarrassed her for a very long time. However from the time she attended the Fire for Fire crusade about a week ago she has never fallen and she believes she will never fall again. She feels very normal and she believes she now prepared for normal life.

3. A sister know as Hawanatu Rogers testified of how sometime back in August 2008 when she went to throw away some dirty water that was in a basin, she collided into the wall and fell to the ground. She twisted one of her right hand fingers and has never been able to hold anything that has weight with that hand because of the severe pains in the finger. But from the day the crusade started she has been able to hold heavy things with her hand again without any pain. She has been healed.

4. A sister testified of returning from Liberia and settling in Waterloo, outside Freetown with some relatives. On one night she dreamt she saw given a piece of cake by one of her relatives and she actually refused the cake but as she tried to open her mouth, that relative forced the cake into her mouth. She then tried to spit it out. However, in that moment, the cake turned into feces in her mouth and she then began to vigorously spit out what was in her mouth. In the process of the continuous spitting she eventually awoke from sleep and found her bed and pillow soaked in saliva. And from that day thing has never been well with her. Everything negative and evil has been her portion. She has been ill until she encountered the saving power of God through Cornerstone Ministries. When the man of God prayed for her and she went home, those who have bewitched her began to confess and one of them is now very ill on her death bed.

5. A sister testified that her ordeal began when she went upcountry to attend a funeral. And while having a nap in the afternoon, she dreamt someone came a took her handbag away. And that has been the onset of her toils and troubles. Her business has gone down the drain and all sorts of evils have positioned themselves in her path. Nothing seems to be working anymore. But after prayers and upon encounter with the power of God through Cornerstone Ministries, one day as she took her nap again b but this she was not completely as sleep but half way between sleep and awake, she saw a hand stretched out and returned her handbag where it used to hang when the bag was not in fact hanging there.

6. A young sister testified of how being loved so much by her father led to her under wear getting missing for years. Since her under wear got missing she she’s been having very long and painful menstruations. She just bled until it decides all by itself when to stop. She went on to say that when the man of God led by the Spirit called out for someone who was suffering from bleeding problem, she boldly went forth and received her breakthrough. After prayers by the man of God and encounter with the power of God at Cornerstone Ministries, she received her healing. She said from that very moment, her bleeding stopped and she was not having any pains as well. Her missing under wear has eventually surfaced and was lying at her door one evening when she came home. Her step-mother confessed to returning the under wear.
